We'd caught a few notes from this band before at an outdoor event, but hearing them at Maxima was a completely different experience. The acoustics in that space just work beautifully for their sound. Every instrument came through with real clarity. No muddiness, no competing frequencies, just a clean, layered mix that let us actually listen.
The other thing that makes Hive Live special is that you get the chance to interact with the band. That kind of energy is hard to find at bigger venues.
