Maxima Hive is a community gathering space designed for workshops, classes, presentations, author talks, networking events, and community programs. We offer several ways to host your event, depending on the level of support you need.

 

Option 1: Space Rental

Perfect for presenters who wish to manage their own registration, promotion, and event logistics.

Your reserved time includes all setup, guest arrival, event time, and breakdown. For example, a 90-minute presentation may allow approximately 30 minutes for setup and 30 minutes for cleanup within a 2.5-hour reservation.

Option 2: Community Partner Package

Designed for free educational, informational, and community-focused events that would benefit from Maxima Hive's audience and marketing channels.

This package includes a total reservation time of up to 2.5 hours and is intended for a single presentation or workshop lasting up to 90 minutes. Additional time may be available at standard rental rates.

Option 3: Revenue Share Partnership

Best suited for ticketed events where both the presenter and Maxima Hive actively contribute to attendance and promotion.

50/50 Revenue Share

Instead of paying a rental fee, registration revenue is shared equally between the presenter and Maxima Hive.

Revenue-share events are selected based on fit with our community and marketing calendar. We encourage presenters to actively promote the event to their own audience while Maxima Hive supports the event through its marketing channels.

Author Events & Book Launches

We love supporting authors and connecting readers with new books through author talks, readings, book launches, and signings.

What We Provide

Our Expectations

Successful author events are a partnership. While we promote events through our channels, the strongest attendance comes when authors actively invite family, friends, colleagues, readers, book clubs, and their social media audience.

We are unable to guarantee attendance levels, media coverage, or book sales.

For most author events, we expect a minimum sale of approximately 25 books through Maxima Book Center. If that is not realistic for your audience, please contact us to discuss alternative event arrangements.

We welcome both traditionally published and independently published authors and are happy to discuss the best event format and book sales arrangement for your event.

Authors may choose to host their event at either Maxima Book Center in Lexington or Maxima Hive in Arlington, depending on where they believe the majority of their audience and community will be coming from. We are happy to help determine which location may be the best fit for your event.
