Menopause in Practice

Real Cases. Four Expert Perspectives. Practical Takeaways.

Menopause doesn’t look the same for every woman—and neither should menopause care.

There’s no shortage of information about menopause. But understanding the symptoms, treatments, and recommendations is one thing. Figuring out what actually applies to you -  and what to do next - is another.

Join us for a different kind of menopause conversation: one focused on putting the science into practice.

Through four relatable case studies, experts in medical and hormone care, lifestyle medicine, nutrition, and emotional health will each take on a common challenge women face during the menopause transition and walk you through how they would approach it.

We’ll explore menopause through four expert lenses:

Medical & Hormone Care
How symptoms, health history and individual risk inform evaluation and treatment decisions, including where menopause hormone therapy and other treatment options may fit.

Lifestyle Medicine
How movement, strength, sleep, stress and recovery can be prioritized to support health and quality of life through midlife.

Nutrition & Metabolic Health
How changing body composition, blood sugar, cholesterol and other metabolic concerns can influence nutrition priorities during the menopause transition.

Emotional Health
How menopause can intersect with mood, anxiety, overwhelm and emotional wellbeing, and how to recognize when additional support may be helpful.

Rather than four traditional lectures, each expert will use a real-world case to show you how they think through a common midlife concern: What matters? What questions should be asked? What options might be considered? And where would they start?

We’ll bring the experts together at the end for audience Q&A, giving you an opportunity to ask questions and hear how different perspectives can complement one another.

You’ll leave with:

  • A clearer understanding of how different aspects of menopause health intersect
  • Practical strategies you can apply to your own health
  • Better questions to bring to your healthcare providers
  • Greater confidence navigating the choices and changes of midlife

Four cases. Four expert lenses. Practical insights for navigating menopause in real life.

*Class Registration, Cancellation & Refund Policy

To provide the best experience while keeping our programs sustainable, most classes require a minimum number of participants. Maxima Hive reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class if the minimum enrollment is not met.

If We Cancel a Class

If Maxima Hive cancels a class, registered participants may choose one of the following:

  • A full refund of the original method of payment.
  • Store credit for the full registration amount, which may be used toward any purchase at Maxima Gift Center, Maxima Book Center, or any future Maxima Hive class or event.

We encourage participants to choose store credit whenever possible, as credit card processing fees are incurred when payments are processed and again when refunds are issued. Selecting store credit helps us reduce these costs and continue offering quality community programming.

Participant Cancellations

If you cancel your registration before the class or event, an 8% cancellation/restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. This fee helps offset the non-refundable credit card processing and administrative costs associated with your registration.

Instead of a refund, you may choose to receive 100% of your registration fee as store credit, with no cancellation fee deducted. Store credit may be used toward merchandise at Maxima Gift Center or Maxima Book Center, or toward any future Maxima Hive class or event.

Class Rescheduling

If a class is rescheduled, your registration will automatically be transferred to the new date. If you are unable to attend the new date, you may choose either a full refund or store credit.

Thank you for supporting local, small-business programming. Your understanding allows us to continue offering meaningful classes, workshops, and events for our community.
