Hardy DIG Little Free Library Book Donation

Thank you for considering donating a book! The intention of the Hardy elementary school's Diversity & Inclusion Group (DIG) Little Free Library is to provide the Hardy Community—children, adults, teachers, and staff—with access to high quality books that represent the diversity of families in our Hardy community and in our wider world. Our focus is on books that foreground underrepresented communities (considering race, class, ability, religion, family structure, culture, etc.) in order to:

  1. Enable children and families to more easily see themselves reflected in quality literature
  2. Provide opportunities to learn (and celebrate!) the multitude of ways we are similar to, and different from, each other
  3. Inspire discussions about the communities and systems we are a part of

These books are sourced and collected by DIG members, who rely on book lists and recommendations curated by fantastic organizations like Books for Littles, Wee the People, Social Justice Books, and The Conscious Kid.

To donate a book, simply purchase one of the in-stock titles below, and Maxima will deliver it directly to the Hardy Little Free Library!
